The bikes needed some proper maintenance and it seems like I can never do business with the local shops here in Dahab, original spare parts are never easily found and they try to rip you off regardless of how well behaved you are you little scumbag. They own the economy with their illegal fists and improper cultural madness, those homophobic geniuses!

Anyways, I called Moustafa Elbakry who’s a bike mechanic and a pro mtb rider to work his magic on the bikes, there were two bikes in particular that their derailleurs went dysfunctional from two kind inquirers who just wanted to disrupt the flow of my consciousness with just trying on the bikes first before they make the commitment of purchasing original American bikes.

Moustafa reached Dahab at 2 am, I let him inside his room to sleep and rest. Next day I woke up at 8 am, went outside and found him already almost done with 6 bikes out of 8, what a genius this man is! He’s exactly the kind of person I’m looking for to maintain those Trek and Decathlon mountain bikes.
No time to waist, no snooze-fests.
The real fun starts here, at around 5 pm we set course towards the Wind Farm road (I have no idea what the real name of that road is, that’s what I call it), and Moustafa immediately fell in love with Dahab and its pure blissful terrains, we took some videos and photos as usual and headed back towards the Lagoon and El Mamsha for a chill cruise before we took the El Matafi St (the bike lane road) as the sun started to sail (impeccable videography time) leaving Moustafa mesmerized by how beautiful some of these roads truly are. Please note that that’s how I’ll make you feel too if you choose to ride with me for a couple of days like him.
